On Friday August 12 at 9:30 a.m. North Bay OPP investigated a single vehicle collision near Clelland Road.
Police investigation revealed that a vehicle was travelling eastbound on Highway 522 when the driver lost control and, swerved across both lanes of traffic before entering the north ditch. There were four people in the vehicle, three of them suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital by EMS.
The driver of the vehicle was charged with careless driving and driving while under suspension.
Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call the North Bay OPP.
Port Loring and Powassan Emergency Medical Services and the Argyle Fire Department assisted.
