The North Bay Police Service is appealing to the public for information in an attempt to identify a suspect in the theft of a boat motor.

Police received a report that a black, Mercury-brand outboard motor was stolen from the marina on Memorial Drive around 9:30 p.m. on July 25.

The suspect is described as wearing a red and white hat with a logo on the front, a dark-coloured sweater, and dark-coloured pants.

Anyone with information, including security camera or dash cam footage from the area around the time of the incident, is asked to contact the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555 and ask to speak with Constable Oerton.
