PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME An investigation into a break in that occurred on Mar 17th has resulted in the recovery of most of the stolen property and 2 people being charged.

WEEKEND Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 177 calls for service that resulted in 18 arrests for a variety of offences that included, assault with a weapon, robbery, assault, domestic assault, assault police, break and enter, impaired

THREATS Threats and gestures by two men towards a third at a bingo hall have resulted in charges. Cory Young 27 yrs of Magnetawan and Danny Lavoie 26 yrs of Sturgeon Falls have been charged with uttering threats.

WEEKEND The North Bay Police Service responded to 269 calls for service over the weekend that resulted in 11 arrests. Offences included assaults, domestic assault, impaired driving, breach of court orders and public intoxication.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY A stolen camera located at a local pawn shop has resulted in the arrest of the man who is alleged to have sold it. The camera was reported stolen during a Nov 2011 break in.

LURING A CHILD On the 26th Mar a four month investigation by the North Bay Police resulted in a search warrant being executed at a Wigston Dr residence. A computer system, other devices and hard copy were seized.

WEEKEND Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 222 calls for service that resulted in 17 arrests.

DOMESTICS Four people are in custody this morning on four separate domestic related occurrences. Charges include assaults, assault with a weapon, threatening, and breaches of undertakings.

BUSY WEEKEND The North Bay Police responded to 265 calls for service over the weekend that resulted in 31 arrests. Several of the arrests were for offences related to domestic situations.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON At 8:00 pm 15th Mar a man walking at the end of Sherbrook St between 2nd and 3rd Av was hit from behind and the right side of his face cut with a knife. The victim believes there were three assailants.
