Passed away at West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls Saturday, December 16, 2006. Rita Marie Culbert born July 28,1928. Rita (née Leblond) was the beloved wife of Gordon Culbert and loved mother of Leslie-Anne Culbert (Regina), Gordon Stewart Culbert (Marilyn) of Calgary, Zelda Mae Cross (Roger) of Bonfield, Theresa (Betty )Villeneuve-Boucher of Jocko Point (Roger deceased), Dianne Villeneuve-Hiscox (Derrick) of Comox, B.C., She will be lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Isadore Leblond (Bernice), Armand (Therisa), Jeannine Collins (Allan) and Homer (Ellen). Predeceased by a daughter, Marie Villeneuve, her parents, Lucienne (Lavigne) and Osias Leblond, one brother, Paul (Mary) and two sisters, Theresa Lamothe (Lomer) and Florence Cushing (Ken). No visitation. Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
