HaltonHillsToday drops off teddy bears, funds raised to Georgetown Hospital

HaltonHillsToday is helping put smiles on faces this holiday season with its first annual Teddy Bear Caper program.

The campaign, adopted from our sister site GuelphToday, calls on the local business community to purchase stuffed animals to be given out to children at the Georgetown Hospital over the holidays.

In addition to donating the stuffies, 100 per cent of all funds raised during this initiative go to the hospital.

GuelphToday has led the Teddy Bear Caper program in the Guelph area for the last five years, and we are thrilled to introduce this wonderful initiative to the Halton Hills community.

The first annual Teddy Bear Caper in Halton Hills raised $1,400 and collected 25 sweet, cuddly teddy bears for children.

HaltonHillsToday is proud to be a part of this worthwhile cause in an effort to give back to our community and make Christmas a little brighter for children and families in hospital over the holiday season.

Programs like this and support from businesses and community members - like you - help us to give back to Halton Hills.
