Congratulations to David Richardson who aced the 110 yard 15th hole at Osprey Links while playing in the annual North Bay Rotary Field Day. Playing with David and witnessing the shot were Henry Drenth, Charlie Brown and Dick Depenbrok.

The Carte Blanche Rotarians blasted H.E. Brown 17-7 on Monday night in United Rentals Baseball action. Dale Valade was the winning pitcher. Valade helped his cause by chipping in with a pair of hits.

Matti Makitalo and Ken Pagan each had three hits to lead the Astorville Lumber Kings to a 9-5 victory over the Carte Blanche Rotarians in United Rentals Senior League Baseball action on Sunday. Jordan Perry added a homerun for the Lumber Kings.

The North Bay Bulldogs got back in the win column with a 42-7 victory over the winless Quinte-Limestone Panthers on Saturday night at Rollie Fischer field.

The NOJHL has agreed to a two-year exclusive equipment deal with Sande Hockey. The equipment company based out of Mission, B.C., is offering up pants, sticks, and gloves as part of the deal with the league.

Last week the North Bay Bulldogs had a chance to defeat the first place NFC team for the second week in a row. Things looked promising for the Bulldogs; however some very untimely and somewhat selfish penalties cost the Bulldogs down the stretch.

Terry Seguin had four hits and scored three times to lead the Carte Blanche Rotarians to an 11-6 victory over Assante in United Rentals Senior Baseball action on Wednesday.
