Chippewa Raiders ace golfer Dan Madigan fired an impressive 75 to win the NDA Senior Boys Golf tournament by 4 strokes at the event held at Clear Springs Golf Club on Wednesday.

The TD Canada Trust team won the U16 Boys Soccer Championship on Saturday in an exciting 3-2 victory over the Kiwanis Club.

The Temiscaming Royals moved to 4-0 on the season with a 5-4 overtime victory against the Elliot Lake Bobcats.

The North Bay Trappers dropped their second straight game on Sunday as they fell 7-2 to the Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves at the Countryside arena in Sudbury on Sunday afternoon. Mitchell Davis and Adam Marceau scored for the Trappers in the loss.

On Saturday both the Junior and Senior teams from Northern and West Ferris travelled to Ivor Wynne Stadium to begin their respective NDA seasons. In the Junior game both teams started off quickly scoring early.
