Mattawa man charged with child porn offences
MATTAWA - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North Bay (Mattawa detachment) assisted by the Child Sexual Exploitation Unit have arrested and charged a Mattawa man following a child pornography investigation.
On September 7, 2016 members the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, OPP Technological Crime Unit and the Mattawa OPP Detachment arrested a 55-year-old male for possessing child pornography.
David Facette, age 55 years, of Mattawa, Ontario is charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing. He was released on a Recognizance of Bail on Sept. 8, 2016, and is scheduled to appear Nov. 9, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Mattawa, Ontario.
The investigation is continuing.
