Time is running out to buy tickets to witness Mayor Peter Chirico outline his vision for North Bay — and for the year to come — at the State of the City Breakfast.

The event, hosted by the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Labour Market Group, will be held on Thursday, Feb. 29 at the Grande Event Centre in downtown North Bay.

A buffet breakfast will be available from 7:30 a.m. until 8 a.m. Tickets are $40 for NBDCC members and $55 for non-members. Mayor Chirico speaks at 8:10 a.m. with a fireside chat to follow.

Chamber President Donna Backer urges interested parties to get their last-minute tickets in advance of the highly-anticipated inaugural event. Members of the media wishing to cover the State of the City Breakfast have been invited to purchase a ticket.

Mayor Chirico, who preceded Backer in the same role with the Chamber of Commerce prior to his election, is donating his time for this event. After overhead, any proceeds from ticket sales will go to the NBDCC.
