Graham Hansel of West Ferris Secondary School continues to make his mark in the field of cross-country running.

Graham earned his spot to compete at the OFSAA X-C Running Championship by winning handily at the NOSSA Cross Country meet held in Sudbury last week. There he completed the 6 KM Junior Boy’s course in less than 20 minutes, a minute ahead of the second place finisher. In Graham’s second visit to the OFSAA XC Championship, he finished in 7th position amongst a very tight group of lead runners with a time of 20:03. He has now earned back-to-back top ten finishes among the best runners in the province.

Other OFSAA qualifiers from NDA schools include:

Madi Fraser of Chippewa Secondary School (Midget Girls)
Noah Swain of Widdifield Secondary School (Midget Boys)
Johanna VanSchie of ESC Algonquin (Junior Girls)
