Divers have found the body of a missing fisherman in Spring Lake near New Liskeard.
Yesterday evening at approximately 5:45 OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit located the body of a deceased male who has been identified as Christian Gareau, 23, of Stouffville.
On Wednesday at approximately 7 p.m. four men set out in a canoe to go fishing.
For reasons unknown, the canoe capsized into the cold water, but three of the four occupants were able to safely swim to shore.
None of the men in the canoe were wearing life jackets.
No foul play is suspected. A post mortem is scheduled to be completed.

Police advise, if you unexpectedly find yourself in the water, conditions such as wind, waves, temperature and more can impede your ability to locate and fasten a PFD. Never underestimate the protection a floatation device can afford you.
