Searchers are still looking for the body of a man involved in a boating accident near Temiskaming Shores.
At approximately 8:15 yesterday evening, members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the OPP received a call to Spring Lake after a report of a that had capsized.
Investigation indicates that at approximately 7 p.m. four men set out in a canoe to go fishing.
For reasons unknown at this time, the canoe capsized and three of the four occupants safely swam to shore.
A 23-year-old man of Stouffville is currently not accounted for.
The OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit is assisting with the search.
Police say further information will be released as it becomes available.
The North Bay and District Ambulance Service, OPP Marine Unit, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, also came to the scene to assist.
