City police use Pepper spray and stun gun to subdue assailant

At 8:55 p.m. on 01st Dec police attended a disturbance at a Duke St residence.

They encountered an agitated male who charged at the officers.

A conducted energy weapon was deployed but before the officers could take him into custody he grabbed a piece of wood in another attempt.

Pepper spray and a conducted energy weapon had to be deployed to gain control of the suspect. 

Subsequent to the arrest a 3 gram baggie of what is believed to be cocaine was located.

Buck Bellaire 38years of no fixed address has been charged with assault police, possession of cocaine and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
