Durril St. man charged with fraud

A six month fraud investigation by the North Bay Police Fraud Unit has resulted in the Mar 27th arrest of David Houle 62 yrs of Durril St.

He has been charged with 3 counts of fraud over $5000, 3 counts of theft over $5000 and falsifying books.

The charges stem from a period between Jan 2006 and Aug 2009 when he was the treasurer of two separate organizations. The Rapport Choir of North Bay is missing over $11,000 and the North Bay Minor Girls Softball Association is missing over $76,000.

He is to appear in court on 14 May 2013.
