Hwy 534 man charged with impaired care and control

At 4:02 am 22 Mar A police officer checked a vehicle in the ditch on Pinewood Park Dr.

When the man in the driver’s seat was arrested for impaired care and control he started to fight with the officer. Pepper spray was deployed but the man still had to be physically subdued.

Ronald Vanderschee 38yrs Hwy 534 has been charged with impaired care and control, over .08 and assault resist arrest.

He is to appear in court on 17th Apr.

Cst Aaron Northrup is investigating.
