Canadore alumni set to host Novemberfest

The Canadore College Alumni Association is hosting its first annual Novemberfest event in the Canadore Room next Tuesday.

Novemberfest is a fun networking opportunity for the broader community, as well as Canadore alumni, faculty, staff and students to enjoy delicious food prepared by students from the School of Culinary Arts.

"The College is so fortunate to have such a strong alumni association," said Brad Gavan, Director of Corporate, Community and Alumni Partnership. "Events like these are a great opportunity to bring together community partners, alumni and aspiring students to share valuable real-world experiences in a fun and informal setting."

All proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit the Alumni Association's scholarship fund for Culinary Arts entrance awards.

The social will take place on November 1 at 6 p.m. in the Canadore Room at the College Drive Campus. Tickets are $40/person, which includes a gift, food, beverage sampling and the chance to win many prizes. For tickets, contact Joey Rainer at [email protected] or 705.474.7600, ext. 5172.
