Scotiabank AIDS Walk falls just $552 short of goal

So close and yet still a great success! The AIDS Committee of North Bay & Area (ACNBA) is pleased to announce the final tally for its Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life held September 11th, 2010 at Lee Park.

Thanks to the generosity of Walk attendees, area businesses, organizations and individuals ACNBA raised $6,448 for its client services programs, coming just short of this year's target of $7,000.

Over 70 walkers made the trek down Memorial Drive raising much needed funds and HIV/AIDS awareness.
ACNBA would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's Walk a winner!

As a reminder, donations are welcome year round and can be made by calling ACNBA at (705) 497-3850 or dropping them off at the agency office at 269 Main St. W., Suite 201 in North Bay.
