On the 3rd of March shortly after midnight it is alleged that Cst. Randy Adair accompanied by another officer spotted two intoxicated persons in the 700 block of Lakeshore Dr.
The officers ended up arresting the two males and one of them used a false name to police. A further investigation showed that in fact this individual was a different person that what had been given. A police check showed this person wanted by police in Toronto and Peel Region for a variety of offences.
Peter GOTTO 31 years old of Wickstead Av. is being held for a bail hearing and has outstanding warrants of Forcible Confinement, Assault With a Weapon, Break & Enter, Possession of Burglar Tools and Fail To Appear.
When searched, the man was found to be in possession of a substance believed to be marijuana and was also charged with Obstruct Police.
