Hearst - The Ontario Provincial Police has laid charges following an investigation into the death of 57 year old Aldoria Fournier whose body was recovered from the scene of a fire that destroyed his mobile home in the Lecours Trailer Park, Hearst, Ontario on March 6, 2008.

Patrick Mitchel Duguay, age 23, George Street, Hearst, Ontario faces one charge of Second Degree Murder and one charge of Arson.

Duguay has been in custody since March 8, 2008 charged with Theft Under $5000 as a result of a parallel investigation relating to the homicide. He appeared at the Provincial Court of Justice in Cochrane on March 17, 2008 and was remanded in custody pending his next court date on April 1, 2008 in Hearst.

The investigation is being conducted by members of the OPP Hearst detachment, under the direction of Detective Inspector Tim Millar, OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.

The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal assisted the Ontario Provincial Police with the investigation.
