MARIJUANA CHARGE
On the 10th of Feb. shortly before 2 AM Csts. Ken Rice and Kris Corbeil of the North Bay Police had occasion to arrest a male for being intoxicated in a public place and in the process of searching him alleged found 14 bags of small quantities of marijuana.
Kory BENOIT, 19 years old of Turner Drive is charged with Being Intoxicated in a Public Place, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Marijuana and 2 counts of Breach of Probation. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
THEFT OF SNOWMOBILES
Overnight on the 10th of Feb. thieves cut the chain securing a locked compound for snowmobiles at the Clarion Park Resort on Pinewood Park Dr.
Here they stole 3 snowmobiles with a value of $13,000 each for a total loss of almost $40,000.
These machines are described as the following:
1 - 2008 yellow skidoo with Ont. plate # 980272
2 - 2008 green Arctic Cat with Ont. plate 980096
3 - 2008 red Polaris with Ont. plate 984086
DANGEROUS CIRCUMSTANCES
On the 10th of February shortly before 2:00 a.m. it is alleged that while a woman was standing at the bar in a downtown liquor establishment, she was suddenly pricked by a needle to her arm. After reporting this to Police she attended the North Bay Hospital for blood work.
