MAN ASSAULTS TWO On Nov. 2 at approximately 1:30 a.m., constables Steve Sproule and Bill McMullen, of the North Bay Police Service, attended a parking lot near McIntyre St. and Fisher St.

STRANGE FOX The North Bay Police Service recently received a report of a large red fox that acted strangely near the Callander Town Hall. This animal chased after occupants of a vehicle which was on the parking lot.

BREAK AND ENTER Between 7 a.m. and noon Oct. 29, thieves broke into a shed on Sovereign Dr, and stole two skill saws, one of them a Stihl and the other a Mastercraft as well as a 1&3/8" Mastercraft drill.

ARSON SOLVED Cst. Greg McClenaghan and Jeff Warner of the North Bay Police Service have recently solved the salvage yard fire that involved approximately 100 vehicle wrecks. The fire was set at Fern Piche and Sons located on Industrial Rd.

ANOTHER ROBBERY CHARGE Cst. Jeff Warner of the North Bay Police Service charged another 16-year-old male in relation to the drug robbery previously reported that occurred Oct. 19. The youth attended police headquarters Oct.

CLOSE TO MILLION DOLLAR FRAUD An investigation commenced by the North Bay Police Service during the summer of 2003 has culminated in an arrest by Det. Cst. Paul Brewer of the Criminal Investigation Section. The arrest took place Oct.

YOUNG DRUG TRAFFICKER On Oct. 23 Cst. Paul Trahan of the North Bay Police Service's School Liaison Unit arrested an 18-year-old male student in relation to drug trafficking in marijuana.

SEXUAL ASSAULT On Oct. 22 at approximately 11 p.m. the North Bay Police Service received a 911 call regarding a sexual assault that had just taken place in a North Bay home. Cst.

BREAK AND ENTER ARREST As a result of an investigation into a break and enter that occurred overnight Oct. 4 into a residence on High St.

ROBBERY On Oct. 19 at approximately 2:30 AM a man attended another man’s residence. This man was known to him. An argument ensued and the visitor began assaulting the victim with his hands and feet.
