MAN ASSAULTS TWO On Nov. 2 at approximately 1:30 a.m., constables Steve Sproule and Bill McMullen, of the North Bay Police Service, attended a parking lot near McIntyre St. and Fisher St.

STRANGE FOX The North Bay Police Service recently received a report of a large red fox that acted strangely near the Callander Town Hall. This animal chased after occupants of a vehicle which was on the parking lot.

BREAK AND ENTER Between 7 a.m. and noon Oct. 29, thieves broke into a shed on Sovereign Dr, and stole two skill saws, one of them a Stihl and the other a Mastercraft as well as a 1&3/8" Mastercraft drill.

ARSON SOLVED Cst. Greg McClenaghan and Jeff Warner of the North Bay Police Service have recently solved the salvage yard fire that involved approximately 100 vehicle wrecks. The fire was set at Fern Piche and Sons located on Industrial Rd.
