STOLEN VEHICLE: DRIVER IMPAIRED On April 22 shortly after 12:30 AM Cst. Jody deHaas and Joe Whitehead of the North Bay Police Service stopped an impaired driver on Lakeshore Drive. The vehicle he was driving turned out to be stolen from Meaford.

POINT FIREARM On April 20 shortly before midnight an argument ensued between two men within an apartment in North Bay. One of the men finally took a pellet gun and pointed it at the other and ordered him to leave. Later Cst.

BREAK AND ENTERS On April 18 between either noon to 6:30 PM or 11PM to 2:30 AM the next morning, thieves entered an insecure residence in the 200 block of Parsons Avenue.

ROBBERY On April 18 shortly after 8:30 PM a 16-year-old male was walking home and was taking a short cut behind the industrial complex in the 600 block of McKeown Av. He was in the process of going over a fence when he was grabbed by two males.

BREAK AND ENTER Between 1:30 PM and 11:30 PM on April 9, thieves entered a residence in the 1100 block of Regina Street through a basement window. They stole a Toshiba DVD, model SD-2715 and a Kenwood Receiver, model ks-505h7.

SOLD SOMEONE ELSE’S VEHICLE On April 14 Cst. Ken Rice and Paul Brewer of the North Bay Police Service arrested a male in relation to a snow machine and motor vehicle that had been unlawfully sold to another person.

CITY BUS DRIVER CHARGED The city bus driver involved in the pedestrian fatality on the April 11 at the intersection on McIntyre Street and Ferguson Street has been charged with Turn NotIn Safety section 142 (1) under the Highway Traffic Act.

NERVY COMPLAINT On the 6th of April during the afternoon hours two individuals were walking by a downtown business and they grabbed a floor mat that was offered for sale. They continued walking and were seen by staff who ran after them.

Two Youths Robbed At noon on April 5, two 15-year-old secondary school boys attended a nearby senior grade school and assaulted two younger teenagers and stole their possessions.
