Robbery At 8:50 am 18th July a man followed the manager of a business on the 2600 block of Trout Lake Rd into the business. He brandished a knife and held it near her neck.

At 8:50 am 18th July a man followed the manager of a business on the 2600 block of Trout Lake Rd into the business. He brandished a knife and held it near her neck. She found an opportunity to shove him back out the door but she received a cut finger in the process. The door was then locked and the robber fled the area. The victim required stitches to close the wound. The suspect is described as male, white, 5’ 6” tall, 180 lbs, heavy build, short dark hair, wearing blue coveralls, dark grey/black ball cap, sunglasses, and a drywall mask. The knife is described as 8 to 10 inches. The suspect may have been hanging around the area prior to this incident waiting for the victim to arrive. The North Bay Police are requesting that anyone that may have seen this person contact Cst Aaron Northrup at 705-497-5555.

Threats
At 10:00pm on the 17th July a man and a woman made death threats against 2 women in an apartment building on Clarence St. Michael MacDonald 30 yrs of Clarence St and Amy Dietrich 28yrs of Clarence St have been charged with threatening death and breach of probation. Both persons have been held in custody for bail hearings. Csts John Cook and Ken Ayres are investigating.

Assault Bodily Harm
A domestic assault has resulted in a 74 yr old man being arrested after he struck a woman in the face with a cane. He has been charged with assault cause bodily harm and mischief. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing. Cst Vince Corrente is investigating.
