Domestic Stats Over the week of July 10th to the 17th the North Bay Police responded to 38 domestic related incidents. Seven males and one female were charged with a total of 13 offences.

Over the week of July 10th to the 17th the North Bay Police responded to 38 domestic related incidents. Seven males and one female were charged with a total of 13 offences. The charges included 7 for assault, 3 for assault with a weapon, and 1 each for aggravated assault, breach of recognizance, and threatening. Three men were held for bail, and 4 men were released on conditions, with a court date. The female was also released on conditions, with a court date.

Overpass Jumper
At 3:15am on the 17th July, alcohol and an argument led to a 20yr old woman jumping off the Main St overpass. The vertical distance was approximately 4 meters. She landed on a steep slope then tumbled down to the railroad tracks. She was taken to hospital by ambulance where it was learned that she did not sustain any serious injuries but she was held overnight for observation. Foul play was not an issue. Cst John Cook is investigating.

Break and Enter
Between Friday the 13th and Monday the 16th July a residence on Premier Rd was entered and searched. Entry was gained through a wooden hatch and the culprits exited through a patio door. An inventory of items stolen is being prepared by the owner. Cst Robin Boucher is investigating.
