Police pull over suspected impaired driver. Three occupants face drug related charges

Police got more than they bargained for when a suspected impaired driver was pulled over Friday evening.

It led to the arrest of three people and the seizure of cash and drugs.

Police say that at 9 p.m. a man was driving a car eastbound on Highway 11/17 in North Bay by O’Brien Street.  A North Bay Police Officer stopped the vehicle and determined the driver was impaired and he was arrested.

As the investigation continued drugs were found in the vehicle and the two female passengers were also arrested.

Wayne Fuller, 31, of North Bay is charged with:

  • Impaired Driving (drug)
  • Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine
  • Breach of probation.

Taylor Cave, a 30-year-old North Bay female is charged with:

  • Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Erin Willard, a 33 year old North Bay female is charged with:

  • Three counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl, cocaine and crystal methamphetamine),
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 
  • Breach of probation

The investigation resulted in the seizure of;

  • 6.6 grams of suspected Fentanyl
  • 2.7 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine
  • 1.2 grams of suspected cocaine
  • packaging materials
  • a cutting agent
  • digital scales
  • cash totaling $3,735

The total street value of the drugs located was estimated to be $3,280.

Following a bail hearing Taylor Cave was released from custody and will appear in a North Bay Courtroom on November 17.

Wayne Fuller and Erin Willard remain in custody pending bail hearings.
