Weekend
Over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to 234 calls for service that resulted in 27 arrests. Offences included assaults, domestic assaults, assault with a weapon, impaired driving, breach of court orders and public intoxication.
Theft of Jewellery
A resident of Kathryn Crescent has reported that several pieces of jewellery were taken from the residence sometime in the week previous to July 20th . Items missing include 3 gold rings with diamonds in each and a couple of gold chains. Cst Jennifer Hollingshead is investigating.
Break and Enter
Between July 19th and July 22nd a Lakeshore Dr residence was entered. Items stolen include Apple Mac Book, a HP laptop, Samsung blue-ray player, and jewellery.

Assault with a Weapon
At 11:47 pm on the 21st of July a verbal altercation at Fraser St and McIntyre St between two men escalated when one man produced a knife and lunged at the other with it. John McLean 46yrs of McIntyre St W was arrested at 11:50 pm on Main St. A small quantity of what is believed to be marijuana was found on his person. He has been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of an illicit drug. He was held in custody for a bail hearing. Cst Steve Brown is investigating.
