Aggravated Assault
At 3:00 am July 19th two men had an altercation at a residence on the 300 block of McIntyre St E. The situation escalated to a fight and blows were struck by both parties. When one of the men was knocked down, the other started stomping on his chest and stomach causing internal bleeding.
The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance and required emergency surgery. Bryce Ivins 28yrs of McIntyre St E was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He was held in custody for a bail hearing. Cst Zach Dagg is investigating.
