A 37-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both of North Bay, were arrested and more than $9,000 in drugs were seized Wednesday, April 24, after an investigation by the North Bay Police Service’s Street Crime Unit.
After a brief investigation on April 24, at approximately 5 p.m., officers from the NBPS Street Crime Unit arrested both accused in a parking lot on Cassells Street in North Bay.
The accused in this incident are:
James Allen Clinkard, age 37 of North Bay, who is charged with:
- Five counts of possession of a scheduled 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking
- One count of possession of a scheduled 1 substance
Roxanne Diane Mary Denne, age 34 of North Bay, who is charged with:
- Five counts of possession of a scheduled 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking
- One count of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- One count of fail to comply with undertaking
The following was seized during police searches:
- $547.30 in Canadian currency
- 20.4 grams of Fentanyl
- 9.3 grams of MDMA
- 8 Percocet pills
- 208 Hydromorphone pills
- 54 Clonazepam pills
- A digital scale
- Packing materials
The total street value of the drugs and cash seized during this investigation was $9,728.30.
Both the accused were held in custody for a bail hearing.
