Shawn Gibson

Shawn studied journalism at Humber College before setting out as a freelance writer in different cities across Ontario in 2006. After moving to Barrie in 2008, Shawn has written for various publications in the city, covering local sports, politics, arts and entertainment and other issues that matter to the community. In 2015, Shawn began reporting for BarrieToday and came on board full-time in 2018.
