Kaitlyn Fitzpatrick was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie. Her father Jim introduced her to the exciting world of news media as a child, bringing her to the MCTV studio and newsroom for his video edits and newscasts. She currently teaches in the public schools and coaches multiple sports. She can usually be found drinking coffee, spending time with her beloved cat, or on the golf course.
