Annual Canada Day race Thursday
Canada Day wouldn’t be the same without the annual road race. For the 34th straight year, the race will be held and it’s now sponsored by PT Works. Entry fee is $20 and registration takes place Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Skyhawks mini camp on weekend
The North Bay Skyhawks mini camp starts today at 5 p.m. at Pete Palangio Arena. The club will be on the ice for a two-hour practice. Two more are scheduled for Saturday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to noon.
