Trevor Brown of the North Bay Norsemen Weightlifting Club took part in his first ever Canadian Senior Championship on the weekend in La Prairie, Quebec.

The North Bay Peewee AAA spring team came home with a win and a tie on the weekend against their rivals from Sudbury in the Nickel City.

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears bounced back after losing their regular season finale Tuesday against the Trojans by edging the Widdifield Wildcats 2-1 in overtime in the NDA Sr.

The West Ferris Trojans defeated the defending champion St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears 3-1 at Cundari field Tuesday night to finish off the regular season. The Bears will now face the Widdifield Wildcats in the NDA Sr.

With the last bye to the semi-finals on the line, the West Ferris Trojans came out strong in their final regular season match against the Scollard Hall Bears in NDA junior boys soccer.

(SUDBURY) - Ten team records were set by the Thunderbirds Swim Club at the East Side Mario’s Invitational Long Course Swim Meet held May 12th to 14th. Fourteen year old Andrew Palangio set six records and 10 year old Jesse Hives set three.
