Ace for Reg Laframboise (new)

Reg Laframboise scored a hole in one at Osprey Links on the 100-yard 15th hole using a 9 iron. Laframboise was playing in the weekly mature men's field day when he scored the ace. His playing partners were Ed Miller, Dan Clement and Mike McReynolds.

Raiders off to 2-0 start (new)

It’s early, but a pattern is beginning to develop in the Nipissing District Association Senior Girls Basketball League. The Chippewa Raiders picked up their second straight win, defeating Northern Braves 65-13.

Osprey Links Results (new)

Mike Poupore of Osprey Links shot a 68 Thursday to win the Osprey Links senior men's fall field day. The score tied the competitive course amateur record shot by Don Mills of Sudbury during the same event in 2002.
