The North Bay Trappers are having a pre-registration for tryouts on both Wednesday, August 15th and Thursday, August 16th at Pete Palangio arena, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. each night.

It was a fast paced, hard skating, physical scrimmage which took place Sunday morning at the North Bay Skyhawks mini training camp.

The Nipissing Alouettes have signed 20-year-old goaltender Tristan Jones. Jones, a 2nd round pick in the 2007 GMHL Draft played junior last season in the Vancouver area.

Three teams from the Eurocamp Summer Stars summer hockey program are heading to the King of the Ring Summer Hockey Tournament at York University. Team 2000, comprised of 7-year-old's is playing its first tournament of this magnitude.
