The Nipissing Lakers soccer teams traveled to Kingston in a re-match of last weekend's games however the results were different on the road as both teams earned a tie against RMC and took a loss to Queen's University.

The Algonquin Barons openend their NDA junior football schedule with a 28-16 win over the West Ferris Trojans Friday evening at the Trojan Alumni Complex. The Trojans scored on the opening drive as Phil Thesen found the end zone.
