Skyhawks fall to Eskimos

The North Bay Skyhawks dropped a 5-2 decsion to their 2nd place rivals, Abitibi Eskimo's Saturday night in Iroquois Falls moving within 6 points of the first place Skyhawks with another matchup Sunday night in North Bay (7 p.m. @ Memorial Gardens).

Trappers sweep Valley East

The Trappers once again took the sting out of the Valley East Cobras with a 4-1 victory Saturday night to sweep their first round Great North Midget League best of 5 series in 3 straight after winning two road games in "the Valley," last weekend.

Athletics swept by the Soo

The North Bay Athletics season came to a halt Saturday night in front of a packed house at Pete Palangio arena. The Athletics were dumped 8-3 once again at the hands of the Soo Greyhounds.

Sr. Trojans knocked out in Semi-Final

The West Ferris Trojans were knocked out of NOSSA Saturday afternoon as they dropped a 65-63 decision to the Lo-Ellen Knights from Sudbury in the Semi-Final which took place at West Ferris Senior Secondary.
