Even though Moose season has been closed for quite a while in the Temiscaming area, that didn't stop the Royals from doing some Moose hunting of their own down in Thornhill on Saturday night.

Mitchell Davis scored three times and Jordon Scott scored twice as the North Bay Trappers defeated the Timmins Majors 6-4 on Saturday night at West Ferris arena. Roch Pellerin had a goal and two assists while Ryan Leckie had three assists.

With a depleted line-up the Royals took one on the chin Friday night by a score of 5-2 at the hands of the Innisfil Lakers.

Roch Pellerin and Andrew Burke each scored twice to pace the North Bay Trappers to a 6-2 victory over the New Liskeard Cubs Friday night in New Liskeard. Nick Huard and Mitchell Davis also scored for the Trappers.

This past weekend the North Bay Ice Boltz Peewee C girls competed in the Silver Stick tournament in Pembroke. In the round robin they had a win 3-2 against South Dundas and a loss 1-0 against the Ottawa Ice placing them fourth out of seven teams.

When a team plays to their potential for only half of one period of a hockey game the result normally isn't very good. On Wednesday night the North Bay Skyhawks fell behind 3-0 to the Sudbury Jr.
