Skyhawks put down Northern Wolves

The North Bay Skyhawks scored five times in the second period en route to a 9-1 thumping of the Sudbury Northern Wolves. The win gives the Skyhawks a 3-1 series lead and a chance to wrap up the best of 7 series on home ice Tuesday night.

Local Ringette team comes home with Silver

At the second day of competition at the Ontario Ringette Provincial "A" championships, the West Ferris Belles met the surprising host team, Upper Ottawa Valley. Going into the competition, UOV was thought to be the weakest team in Belle.
