Lakers to host youth soccer camp

The 2nd annual Nipissing University Lakers Soccer Camp is now accepting registration. The camp is open to children aged 7-14 and will run from July 18 to July 22 beginning at 10 a.m. and finishing at 3 p.m. The cost of the camp is $100.

Blade, bike and run a success

About 60 rollerblading, biking and running enthusiasts gathered together on Sunday morning and participated in the 6th annual Chiropractic Society Blade, Bike, and Run for Fun. The races started at 9:00 a.m.

Newton takes 100 metre title at Nipissing Track meet

West Ferris sprinter Adam Newton ran a 10.7 to capture the 100 metre title at the Nipissing Invitational Track Meet at Cundari field Saturday afternoon. It was Newton's slowest time this season, running a 10.48 and a 10.37 at two earlier track meets.
