The West Ferris Flag Football League came to a close on the weekend and championship and consolation titles were declared in peewee and bantam divisions. Best Western Bills won the peewee title with a 24-8 win over Pizza Hut 49ers.

ST. IGNACE — Northern Michigan Black Bears scored two goals in the third period to edge the North Bay Skyhawks 3-2 in NOJHL action here Saturday night. The Skyhawks led 2-I going into the third on goals by Danny Loach and Josh Merson.
