The North Bay and District Pee Wee 'AAA' Trappers were in action over the weekend in Timmins where they played three games against the Timmins Storm.

Jenna Davidson had 19 points to lead the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears to a 59-44 victory over the West Ferris Trojans in the Jr. Girls Basketball semi-final on Monday. Bridget Tancredi added 13 points while Jaime Udeschini finished with 9 points.

The North Bay Hilltop Variety Bantam 'AAA' Blades won two of three at home this weekend against the visiting Sudbury Wolves. In the opener on Saturday Josh Storie, Brodie Whitehead and Tanner Owca had goals to lead the Blades to a 3-1 win.

The Alouettes only left Sturgeon Falls with 12 players but still came home with a big win as they defeated the Espanola Kings 4-1 in Espanola on Saturday night. Cody MacKinnon, Justin Huycke, Steve Garcia and Andre Leclaire scored for the Alouettes.

The North Bay Trappers losing streak stretched to four games as they fell 6-4 to the Kirkland Lake 87's on Saturday night in Kirkland Lake. Roch Pellerin, Dylan Staples, Pascal Seguin and Scott Pawson scored for the Trappers in the loss.
