Youth Bowlers take Provincial Silver Medals

A total of 15 youth bowlers took part in the Youth Challenge Provincial 5 Pin Bowling Championships which were held at Plaza Bowl, Sudbury, Ontario on Saturday, December 7, 2019.   

This tournament consisted of youth ages 12 to 18 with an opportunity to advance to the National Championships in Ottawa, Ontario in March 2020.

Bowlers consisting of Felicity Eckensviller and Alexis Antler from Haileybury, Riley Rose from St.Charles, Kyrsten Tremblay, Ryane Lafleur and Coach Natasha Smith from North Bay took the Silver medal in the Ladies team division.

Bowlers consisting of Abby Furlotte-Goddard and Allee Little from Haileybury, Connor Clark and Chase Stahls from Parry Sound, Thomas Williams and Coach Michael MacLean from North Bay, took the Silver medal in the Mixed team division.

Bowlers consisting of Jake McKenny, Nicholas MacLean, Coach Tom Williams from North Bay, Zachary Eckensviller, Antonio Crick, Isaac Walker-Dupont from Haileybury took 5th place in the Mens team division.

Securing top 10 spots in the individual standings were Felicity Eckensviller and Zachary Echkensviller from Haileybury, Riley Rose from St.Charles,

Connor Clark and Chase Stahls from Parry Sound.

Zachary and Connor missed qualifying for the Nationals team by 7 and 10 points respectively.
