In the first Game, Ann-Renee Guillemette was the winning pitcher and had plenty of offensive help as the Lions hit the ball to all parts of the diamond.
Cat Trudel had a home run and double and Kim LeClair chipped in with a triple, double and single.
Sylvie Corbeil had a double and single as losing pitcher Steff Bennett and relief pitcher Missy Truchon faced a hitting barrage from start to finish.
Bennett had a double for the Jazz.

In the second game, Partners/Assante Wingate took a 4-3 lead in the top of the sixth, but the two-time defending champs, NNWS, came back with three runs of their own in their half of the sixth to take the win.
Lisa Hotte was the winning pitcher and Leigh Ann Taylor took the loss.
Paula Morley had three hits for the winners and Fran Hotte had a double and single and three runs batted in.
Lisa Hotte and Janelle Birtch had two singles each and Janice Marcil and Monique Ferguson had singles.
Christine Legault had a single and home run for Partners/Assante/Wingate.
Steff Hancock and Julia Hancock had two singles each.
Taylor had a double and Amber Malkowski hit a triple. Jen Nychuk added a single.
