Drake Pilon's 9th goal of the season with less than three minutes left in regulation broke a 1-1 tie as the Sudbury Wolves ended the Battalion winning streak at 6 thanks to a 2-1 win at the Sudbury arena on Saturday night.

Sudbury product Bradley Chenier, who always seems to perform well on Sudbury ice for the Battalion, got the Troops on the board at 7:01 of the second period.

David Levin got the Wolves squared up with the tying goal at 11:59 of the middle frame.

It stayed that way until Pilon was able to jam the game-winner past Christian Propp.

Jake McGrath, who was named the game's first star, turned away 32 North Bay shots in the Wolves win.

Propp made 32 saves as he was named the game's third star.

The loss drops the Troops back below the .500 mark again with a record of 19-20-5-1 and 6th spot in the OHL Eastern Conference.

The Battalion head back down Highway 17 tonight and will hope to begin another winning streak Sunday afternoon as the Troops host the visiting Saginaw Spirit.  Puck drop is set for 2 p.m. at Memorial Gardens.
