Wildcats win 2nd straight at NOSSA

The Widdifield Wildcats won their second game of the day as they upset St. Basil's from Sault Ste. Marie 5-3 Tuesday to improve to 2-0 in the NOSSA "AAA" tournament taking place in Sudbury this week.

Jason Ethier, Ben Biffis, Nick Cliche, Marcus Barber scored for the Cats with Kevin Plouffe icing the win with an empty netter.

Wednesday morning the two unbeaten teams will meet as the heavily favoured club from St. Charles will take on Widdifield at 9 a.m.

The two clubs will likely face each other Wednesday night in the NOSSA "AAA" final which takes place at 7 p.m. at the Countryside Arena.
