The Widdifield Wildcats sit at 1-1 after the first day of action at the OFSAA AA/A tournament taking place this week in Fort Frances, Ontario.
The Wildcats opened up the event with a close 7-6 win over the fifth seeded Campbellford Flames.
However, their next game they fell 4-2 at the hands of the third seeded St. Mary’s Crusaders.
The Wildcats are back on the ice Wednesday morning when they face the Dryden Eagles.
