Wild humbled in season opener

The Nipissing Wild struggled in their OFC season opener as they were defeated 42-7 at the hands of the Sudbury Gladiators in Sudbury on Saturday night.  

Even Derosier had the lone major for the Wild.  

The Wild is back on the road next weekend as they face the Peterborough Wolverines on Saturday, June 3rd in Peterborough.  

The Wild home opener will take place on Saturday, June 10th against the visiting Huronia Stallions.   

The Wild struggled to a record of 1-7 in 2016 and 0-8 in 2015.
