Voodoos seeking new coach

The Powassan Voodoos organization is in search of a new head coach to take over for the start of the 2021-22 season.

The Powassan Voodoos organization is in search of a new head coach to take over for the start of the 2021-22 season.

The Voodoos took a leave of absence in January of 2021 when the franchise was unable to participate in NOJHL play due to regional health protocols.  The team assembled in November and trained independently at the Powassan Sportsplex from November until early December.  

“We are looking for an experienced coach who will hit the ground running with our organization,” stated Chris Dawson. general manager of the Voodoos.

Interested candidates will require a High Performance 1 (HP 1) coaching certificate.  

“The coach will have an opportunity to work for a solid ownership group along with a great support system around him to help us carry on the Voodoos winning tradition,” Dawson said.
