Eric Allair is coming home.

The former Voodoos blueliner is returning to the Voodoos after a trade with the Caledonia Profit Corvairs of the GOJHL, the Voodoos announced Monday.

The 20-year-old netted two goals along with nine assists for 11 points in 27 games with the Corvairs this season. He was also the GOJHL's defenceman of the month in October.

"I am extremely excited to be back in Powassan where I started my Jr. career," said Allair, who was traded to the Corvairs in the off-season.

"I am looking forward to bringing my experience and leadership to the team to help win a championship. It’s great to be home."

Max Gavin, Voodoos head coach, believes Allair is an ideal fit for the improving Voodoos blueline.

“Eric brings a wealth of experience to our blue line," said Gavin.

"To get a guy who has played in the OHL and been a 'go-to' guy in this league before is huge. Eric plays the game the right way and can control the play in all zones. Couldn’t be happier to have him back with us.”

Allair is expected to be in the Voodoos lineup on Wednesday when the Voodoos travel to French River to take on the Rapids.
