Voodoos name Hardiman associate coach

Josh Hardiman is joining the Powassan Voodoos as an associate coach, the club announced.

Hardiman, who was previously an assistant coach with the Trenton Golden Hawks, comes over with the Voodoos along with new head coach Peter Goulet who was hired by the Voodoos in July 2022. 

The 25-year-old Montreal product has also played Junior A Hockey for both Kingston and Markham in the OJHL including playing one season for coach Goulet in Kingston.

“I am very excited and grateful to join such a great franchise like the Powassan Voodoos,” said Hardiman.

“I want to say thank you to owner Jim Bruce, general manager Chris Dawson and head coach Peter Goulet for giving me this opportunity. I look forward to working with Chris and Peter as well as the rest of the staff as we build a championship contending team. As well I’m looking forward to getting to know the community as well as the great fans of Voodoos nation!”

Hardiman has also experience as a video coach doing stats and analytics as well as running strength and conditioning programs with the Golden Hawks. 

Hardiman joins Goulet and assistant coach Josh Dale behind the Voodoos bench for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
