The Powassan Voodoos, with direction from the Hockey Canada, the OHF and the NOJHL, are cancelling their April spring training camp which was set for April 18 and 19 at the Powassan Sportsplex.
"We have had contact with prospective players about the cancellation of the camp and all of those respective players and their families have been extremely respectful and understanding of the circumstances relating to this cancellation," said Voodoos GM Chris Dawson.
The Voodoos, along with all other Hockey Canada sanctioned hockey programs will wait for direction from the OHF and membered partners as to when sanctioned activities can resume.
The NOJHL officially cancelled the 2019-20 playoff season on March 13 due to the COVID-19 threat.
